The Moray Resource Centre

Moray Resource Centre in Elgin reopened in November 2021 following the suspension of services due to the Covid pandemic.
The building provides a welcoming, safe and stimulating environment for the provision of a day service for vulnerable adults living in west Moray whose health and wellbeing outcomes can best be met through a building-based day opportunity.
In response to increased demand for day care, the service has been extended and now operates five days a week, Monday to Friday.
The service has a focus on reducing loneliness and social isolation in older people who benefit from staff support to socialise, take part in activities and for their personal care needs. The day service also provides unpaid carers with the opportunity to take a break from their caring role.
Moray Council transport collects people to take them to the centre and drops everyone home again at the end of the day. While at the centre there are opportunities to take part in a programme of indoor and outdoor activities such as armchair exercises, bingo, word games, carpet bowls, music therapy, reminiscence activities and much more!
There is no charge for this service. You will only pay for your meals and snacks at a reduced rate.
