Why Not Gift Aid It?

Gift Aid is a scheme that allows charities to claim extra money from HMRC for any donations they receive from individuals who pay UK Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax.
The charity can claim an extra 25p for every £1.00 donated, without any extra cost to the donor.
The donor must make a Gift Aid declaration to confirm that they are eligible and that they agree to donate their tax refund to the charity.
